A very nice toy which helps to satisfy curiosity about the perplexing forces of magnetism and electricity in young children. My son is 5.5 and seems to be very occupied with these topics thus the kit is a hit.

My grandson loves the magnet! The only disappointment for me was the booklet which accompanied the set. It was only two pages,essentially, because the rest was translations into different languages. It seems there could be more than the few ideas in the booklet for using the magnets.

My 5 year old son was learning about magnets in kindergarten and I bought this to supplement his education. He absolutely loves it!
He plays school at home and created a "magnet" section that he does daily using this set and he makes up his own little experiments.
Overall, great set!
Have fun experimenting with magnets!

This toys works as a guided or opening ended toy. It does come with a booklet of suggest experiments. Contains various magnets - really got my 5 year old thinking.
