It is not a toy that a child plays with. It is a plastic terrarium that is supposed to grow Venus fly traps and Sundew Savages. I purchased it for my 9 year old grandson. There were no Sundew Savages seeds and the instructions for the amount of light needed (blue light and red light) were very complicated. Also there was no instruction on how often and how much it is supposed to be watered. Since there is no drainage hole in the bottom, I do not want to over water. The picture in the catalog is beautiful but I will be surprised if I see anything sprout.
