I got this as a gift for my 9-year-old niece, who loves it. The wood feels sturdy and the marbles have a nice, opalescent quality to them. My only complaint is that the holes are set very closely together. I find I have a hard time picking up the marbles to move them. Sure, I'm an adult with adult hands, but it's not like I've got meaty man fingers or anything. Ultimately, this set is probably best for kids because of this.
