I bought this for my 6 year old son, he LOVES it. I gave it to him to keep him busy at a party, he wouldn't put it down. It's easy enough for him to do without my help and challenging enough that he wants to do it over and over again. I even like that the colored pictures in the challenge book are clear enough that my 3 and 5 year olds can just put the pieces in following the picture, even if they can't finish the puzzle. Also, it's in a nice small container so you can take it in your purse or pocket easily.

I bought the item for a gift for a puzzler. It seemed to offer a good range of challenges and was portable for easy travel.

Bought it for my almost 10 year old niece, who loves puzzles and mind teasers. She worked on it all day, finally solving one of the 2D puzzles. She's very excited to try the 3D puzzle. Her 7 year old sister and father were chomping at the bit for a turn....it kept everyone's attention. It's great for spending lots of time with, but also great for fiddling with for 5-10 minutes. I think it's a toy that will continue to intrigue her for a long time still. Definitely a Christmas favorite.
