With magnifications from 30x to 150x and rack and pinion focusing, stargazers and nature watchers are rewarded with bright, clear images. Plus it's lightweight and simple to use. All glass optics, 50mm objective lens, 2 eyepieces, 2x image erector, 5 x 24mm finder scope, 50" full-height adjustable tripod, and 2-element achromatic objective lens. Ages 8+.

My granddaughter has wanted a telescope for a long time,so i got her the Vega 600 telescope,for her 11th. birthday.She loves it and has already watched the eclipse of the moon earlier this month.

In 9 years of toy shopping this was the worst purchase yet. The tripod is so wobbly that it makes it impossible to focus on something. All it has brought is frustration and tears for my daughter.
