I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old grandson. I bought it because my son remembers playing with "Bristle Blocks" when he was a child and he thought his son would enjoy them. Like father, like son! The grandson is thoroughly engrossed in playing with them and they are great for young toddlers to begin their building skills. They stay together easily and build confidence.
