We can't say we've seen a game quite like this one. Truly, THE GAME of Imaginative Solutions!

One glance across the clever graphic pictures of a swamp, wall topped with barbed wire fence, and grim ogre will have kids ready to play!

It's a cooperative game that will have kids hooting and howling in laughter- and coming up with some really terrific ideas too!

First, players set out a lovely HOME card. Everyone's aim - to get there. Together.

Next, players determine how many and which obstacles they want to tackle before they arrive at home. They set out one OBSTACLE card to begin.

To proceed toward home players must pass that obstacle. To do that, players draw TOOL cards. Players go around the circle and come up with creative ways to use one or two tool cards to solve the obstacle.

Sounds trite - until you consider the tool cards. How will you use a vacuum to help you past an ogre? Sounds tough... until you ask a kid. If you haven't had a good laugh lately, this is definitely a game you'll want to remain within earshot for.

Once all the kids have shared solutions they lay their tool card on top of the obstacle card to show that it's been tackled successfully. Then, they're raring to go - ready to take on the next obstacle challenge!

Great game!

I bought this game for my 5 and 7 year olds because it sounded original and fun. I always encourage them to use their imaginations, and this seemed like a good game that would allow them to do that. They had this game out a lot when they first got it, but there is a lot of competition with other toys/games. So my marking play value as "plays with it once in a while" is not a reflection on the quality of this game. The cards are sturdy and cover a wide array of "tools" which means lots of variety in playing this game. While playing, my daughter lamented that a tool card she would like was missing, so I suggested she make one. Aha! Her eyes lit up and both son and daughter were off creating their own tool AND obstacle cards. We love this game so much, we've bought 3 more and stashed them away for birthday gifts!
