Leonardo da Vinci designed the first self-propelled cart capable of moving without being pushed or pulled manually. The precursor to the modern automobile was most likely used during stage performances. It has three wheels and a steering column. The device moves via spring-loaded cams near the wheels. As the springs uncoil the stored power is transferred to the driving wheels using a set of gears.
The scientific genius of Leonardo da Vinci is brought to life through these 10 articulated models. The inventions that inspired these snap-together replicas are taken from the pages of Da Vinci’s priceless and awe-inspiring notebooks. All models are made of plastic and require no special tools. Manuals are very educational and teach how these inventions have evolved into what they are today.

It is a really fun concept and the movements are pretty interesting. The assembly was a little stiff in some parts especially putting the wheels on the axle. Will be looking at other toys in the line as well.
