Fifty-six numbered tiles make for 4 unique challenges and hours of endless fun. Includes 56 bakelite tiles, instruction booklet, and travel bag. Travel bag is 3.5 x 1 x 5 inches. This handy game pack is the perfect "grab-and-go" accessory for the entire family. Discovery Puzzle is played by building loops of various shapes and sizes starting with tiles #1-3. The more tiles you add, the more challenging the puzzle. Rainbow Puzzles is played by splitting the tiles into 5 color-coded piles and forming unique loops or lines of color. Tantrix Solitaire is played by making a red line and red loop using 14 tiles. Tantrix Strategy Game is played by challenging players to form the longest line or loop so skillful moves and competitive spirit are required. One to four players. Ages 6 and up.

I bought this game to play with my granddaughters. We love playing it together. I especially enjoy the solitaire games as a challenge when the girls aren't visiting.

I'm a high school math teacher and I am always on the lookout for interesting thought provoking games. I already had one set of Tantrix tiles in my classroom, but the kids were always fighting about whose turn it was to play, so I bought two more sets. Out of my own money, by the way. That's how much I like the game.

We love this game. We take it on trips to play in a hotel, we play it on weekends together at home, or in the evening after homework is done. Grandparents love it as much as our 10-year-old does. It's a game that is easy to explain to non-English speakers when we travel to Japan.
