I once owned a product similar to this however this one levitates the top higher and is far more asthetically pleasing. It wasn't difficult to master and it performs as well or better than advertised. Its truly an amazing and interesting device.

Kind of tough to get levelled and used to starting. But after that its a great centerpiece.
Do not place anywhere near monitors or computer equipment/media as this is a large magnet. A coworker that I let "borrow" this to take to their office set it next to his laptop and it messed it up bad.

This anti-gravity top is pretty amazing. If you think you are going to spin the top without any troubles - think again. I would highly recommend the auto spinner. I did not purchase it as I thought - who can't spin a top? Boy was I wrong. It probably took me several day of spinning and cursing before i got the hang of it. I must admit when I finally got it to work it is pretty cool. Balancing the top in the magnetic field is also tricky. I purchased the cherry wood levitron, as I thought it looked nice. After days of practicing the spin the top really dinged up the finish. If I had to purchase again I would buy one with a plastic ring.

Fun with Magnets

Fun, but difficult magnetic top/puzzle that can keep you entertained for quite a lengthy period of time. It could also test your patience. The challenge with the levitron is getting the base properly leveled and loading the right amount of weight onto the top.
