There is something alluring about arranging long wooden puzzle sticks that make it, well... really fun. We don't know why. It's just fun. And, an added benefit- puzzle stix encourages visual spatial abilities, fine motor skills, concentration, (and elbowing bystanders).
Arrange 42 custom-cut wooden sticks to form one of two colorful (slightly confusing) images. On one side of the stick is one puzzle and the other side is another puzzle.

I used this puzzle in a problem solving exercise with adults. They were divided into teams and it took the group 45 minutes to solve it. I felt this was the right level of idfficulty. The participants enjoyed the unusual nature of the shape of the pieces.
