My grandson is 4 1/2 and is a bit young for a skateboard with wheels. This has worked out perfectly. He watched the video once and was doing the tricks within minutes. He loves it! It works great on the carpet and doesn't slip at all. He found that he can do the tricks better with his sneakers on rather than not having them on.

We bought one of these for our son's 7th birthday, and gave our 9 year old one at the same time. It's a good thing we did, because they would have been fighting over just one, and have both gotten a lot of play out of their own, over the past week that they have had them.
It's a fun and active thing they can do in the living room - often one plays with his while the other practices piano - and having access to 2 has also led them to create some fun new things to do with them, such as sliding across the floor like cross country skiis. Glad we bought them, and a good price point too.

I think this is a fun toy for kids who like to snowboard and skateboard but it's a little small for me (I'm 10 yrs old). I can practice my moves indoors and during the winter, that's great!

Our son wants a skateboard, and we don't want another broken arm. The Yo Baby Kick Flipper was our solution... We know we can't protect him forever, but this is giving him the experience and imagination of real skateboarding without the wheels!
