This Sky Winder makes hauling in your kite a heck of a lot easier. It has two gears... 1:1 for normal winding speed and 3:1 for winding slack line in a hurry!

Seciaslly designed for that "Big Ol' Kite" you see at the beach with "things" on the string. This Sky winder is sturdy and well built with a line strong enough to run line laundry in moderate to strong winds. A usefull feature on these winders is the thumb lock. This allows you to control the line wiht one hand as you are setting the runners on the line. I recommend the use of an anchor line however, as the stronger winds can rip the winder from yopur grip. There is nothing worse that seeing your favorite kite vanish out to sea.

We flew our Pirate Kite on Easter in freezing weather with winds of about 20 mph using the Sky Winder. The Skywinder worked great.
