I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old. He loves it as well as my 5 year old. The game is very easy to understand. Even if they didn't want to play "by the rules" this would still be fun. The pieces are smaller than I anticipated. I'm finding that my kids actually PLAY with quality wooden toys and games.

Excellent quality of construction. Fun animals anyone can enjoy. Different playing options allows it to be a fun game for a wide range of ages. This is one of the best games I've purchased for our 4 year old. It is also far more enjoyable for mom and dad to play along with than most 4-year-old games.
