Three adults put this together. I will be using it this summer for my summer reading program at our library. We will be drawing and building wonders of the world. The pyramid was a little difficult, but we numbered the peices. This helped. We had a great time putting it together. The older kids will love it!

A fabulous alternative to video games. A product that encourages analytical problem-solving skills. It was fun. I liked the fact that it contains passages and a tomb. It reinforces the idea that pyramids were not solid inside, therefore encouraging one to marvel at the stability of early Egyptian architecture.
I like the fact that the toy was just not "here's some blocks, not stack to make a pyramid." It's quite a challenging puzzle. The box says it's for ages 3 and up. I do wonder how a 3 year old would complete the pyramid without an adult's help. Before trying the pyramid set out on school children, I tried it out with 2 adults. They couldn't finish it without the instructions.
It would be nice for the toy to contain a piece of paper detailing the history and the significance of the pyramids.

We purchased this set to go along with our Africa study. The kids thought it was an interesting and fun way to learn about the pyramids of Egypt. When the pyramid is finished you can make a cool display by placing it on Moonsand!
