My son who just turned 2 loves this toy. I think it's funny because the package says for 3 and up. he loves naming the colors and the shapes, and loves lacing them all through, and of course loves taking them all off as well. I think that it has helped him work on his fine motor skills without him getting frustrated that the lace is to thin. (since this one has the peg at the end of the string) BRILLIANT! only thing is i wish they had different lengths of string, and maybe a carrying case to help with clean up. otherwise, A+!
