"My son also has low muscle tone in his hands. This is orginally why I purchased this toy. The ball and joint and snap together pieces are great for developing fine motor and building strength in his hands. The picture cards are great for keeping his mind on what he is building. The picture cards also promote color and counting skills. Just the perfect amount of difficulty to keep him motivated but not frustrated. My son is 5 years old."
Our grandson, age 5, and all of his friends love playing with his Zoob set. It is very appealing with the bright color...and is sturdy enough to withstand lots of play. Since purchasing it at Fat Brain, I have seen the basic set in a larger package (I think 125 pieces) and would probably have preferred that size had I seen it before this purchase.

This is a great quality product and perfect for little hands. It is not too difficult to put together and it is sturdy enough to make models. I love the ball and socket design which allows it to rotate. My two year old boy is having a good time playing with this toy. I would highly recommend it.
