I got a few of these as party favors for some of the older kids at my toddler's birthday party. They are so much fun! They're very fast, they change direction smoothly and quickly, and they are hilarious. As soon as one of the boys took his Hexbug Ant out of the packaging and turned it on, a ring of boys of all ages formed. Some of the toddler girls had fun chasing it too. If you want the fastest moving Hexbug, this is probably it.

This toy was an inexpensive stocking stuffer, so I didn't expect much from it even though it looked like lots of fun. My granddaughters are playing with them all the time and they are having a ball with them - so are grandpa and dad!

The batteries were dead when my kids opened them up on Christmas. But, mommy had planned ahead and had extras. Crisis adverted.

So much more fun than just another action figure or toy car. It has the 'bug' aspect that he liked and it was mechanical. It was a double hit.
