The game that combines lasers with classic strategy for an experience enjoyed by players of all ages.
Players alternate turns moving Egyptian themed mirrored pieces around the playing field after which they fire their low powered laser diode with the goal of illuminating their opponent's pieces to eliminate them from the game.

My son really enjoys this game, as do I. However, with that said, I think the packing the game pieces came in should of been something else than plastic. The board itself and the pieces are fine though.
Also, you cannot see a laser beam the way it's advertised in the game. You do see the final end point if you will with the beam, but not a straight line beam between the game pieces as is advertised on the game. We have played this game only a few time, so maybe there is a way to see the beam, but I haven't been able to as of yet. Still a fun game though!

Khet is a great strategy game. We purchased the original version and were excited to get 2.0 for a cousin. The new version requires a little less set-up and the board isn't quite as large so it fits on the toy shelf better.
Easy to learn and kids who are new to the game are drawn in by the lasers. There are lots of ways to set up the board, which makes it a different game each time you play. Terrific gift for 8-10 year olds.
