The sensor on the bird is not sensitive enough. I have to wave my hand right in front of it. I returned the other unopened one I ordered because I was disappointed.

Breezy the parakeet is a fun toy when you have live parakeets. They enjoy having this "buddy" to play with and eventually attack. Well worth it for me.

This is a cute little toy - tweets, head turns, tail moves as it chirps away. We just got a parakeet from a bird rescue center and my son adores her, but wants his own bird. Since he is just a toddler, I thought this would be the way to go. (Though the box states this is not a toy and is for display only.) The only thing I wish was improved is that when the head and tail move, it makes clicky noises that distract from the realism, but for what we need it for, this does fine!
