This dual color block set includes a book with the illustrated works of Johanna C. van der Bruggen, artist-painter. The works are medium level difficulty, various subjects and are to be built with the 40 piece Kapla blocks set. The Kapla planks are identical pieces of finely sawn maritime pine. Their proportions are ideal for creating many types of structure, balanced without any form of fixing required. Suitable for everyone from child to artchitect alike to experiment and follow their own inspiration. The blocks are made in Morocco and the book is printed in Belgium.

The blocks are great. They stack well and feel good. They have just a bit of texture. They do not slip against each other which makes it easier to do things like lean them on end for roofing. The book doesn't have a lot of objects to make. It does show some interesting ones and gives you an idea of others that you can build.
