Laura Rangel & Lisa Steen Proctor founded award-winning Karito Kids multi-cultural dolls and books to inspire warm feelings during play and kind actions toward children around the globe. With a Karito Kids purchase, kids can go online and choose one of the four causes they want to support in a real child’s life: home, health, food or school. Funds from 3% of the purchase price of each Karito Kids product provide the funds.
Since the company's launch, Karito Kids has helped provide 27+ homes in Honduras, 34,000+ mosquito nets for kids in Kenya, 5,600 chickens to feed children eggs in China and over 3,800 books for children in Mali.
