Karito Kids Dolls
Karito Kids dolls are ethnically accurate vinyl play dolls. A full 21 inches, the dolls are uniquely sized to emphasize the latest fashion and distinctive characteristics. They are designed to be a comfortable size for children of different ages to carry along as a companion. Sculpted by a renowned doll sculptor with focus on the distinctive beauty of each ethnicity. The sculpts were designed to represent features of African, Asian, Caucasian, Latin and Mediterranean ethnicities. The dolls are strung with fully articulated arms and legs so they can sit, stand, and be posed in many positions. The clothing and accessories reflect high quality and detail throughout the design and fabric selections.
Karito Kids Books
Written by an award winning author, exciting adventure mysteries take place in each girl’s home country and uniquely combine fact with fiction. In addition, readers can extend the book experience by locating clues throughout the story that will allow them to solve mysteries on the Karito Kids website. The high quality hard bound books, 150 pages in length, are written at the 5th grade reading level. Each book contains 8 pages as a journal entry detailing real facts about the country and culture.

Karitokids.com empowers kids to help other kids while having fun themselves. Beginning with their first purchase of a Karito Kids product, children activate their donation by entering a unique serial number on the website and selecting one of four causes (growing up healthy, learning, habitat or livelihood) where they want to make a difference in the lives of children around the world. Additionally, the kids will earn points by playing games on the website. These points, called “World Change,” will be converted into real donations that kids can direct to their selected cause.

The Karito Kids Ling from China is absolutely beautiful. She is a much more realistic looking Chinese doll than the American Girl Chinese-American doll, whose eyes do not look even remotely Asian. It is hard to find dolls of this quality that accurately represent minorities and people of color. The Ling Doll is wonderful, and my daughters love having this type of doll which looks like them. This updated version is also dressed in hip clothes, a cross between Western and Eastern, which my girls love. As a bonus, a portion of the purchase price goes to the charity of the purchasers chosing (from a list) --a nice touch in helping girls care about the bigger picture of the real world.

My 4 year old daughter selected Piper as the doll she wanted for her birthday, I was plesently suprised by the quality of the doll, and my daughter loves Piper, and carries her everywhere. We will be back to get some of the clothes, as I have been instructed that Piper needs sleepwear.

Very well made and I bought this for myself and I am 63 years old. I collect dolls like Tonner Dolls, Wilde Imagination, and Reborn babies. I heard about these dolls and had to check them out. I was so pleased. They are prettier than the American Girl dolls yet can wear the same clothing. I think the hair on the dolls is exceptional and I am very pleased with Piper and I wish they had more clothing for them......

My Granddaughter aged nine loved the doll. She seemed to be good quality. One thing we did notice was that one leg was a little shorter than the other so she was uneven when standing upright.
