Love these toys!

Bought this one and a couple other wind up toys for my 10 year old son. He loves them and so do all his friends. Wasn't sure how sturdy they would be, but after a couple weeks of non stop play on all kinds of surfaces, they are stll going. This one is especially fun because of the sparking!

Just plain fun watching the mechanical workings function. While this may be a 'toy' of sorts for kids, it can be enjoyed by adults as much, maybe more!

Awika Walks

Last year my employer gave us some wind-up chatterbox teeth. I took it upon myself to organize a Chatterbox Race for my department. It went very well with lots of entries and everyone had a blast. This year I decided to have our second annual race but opened it up to any wind-up spring powered toy that walks or hops (no wheels) allowed. So I was searching around for a new entry for me and found Awika which I believe is going to be a winner this year. I have tested it out several times and it tends to run very well as long as I don't wind it up too much. If it's wound up too tight it spins it's feet for the first couple of seconds then gets going.

This is our favorite of all the Kikkerland creatures we've bought. The sparks and colorful feet make it a lot of fun to play with.
