A book of simple and satisfying origami folds, from the exotic parrot to the beautiful star box to the hopping frog (he really hops). The meticulously illustrated step-by-step instructions are easy to follow, but yield impressive results. A supply of traditional, square origami paper, in a variety of solid colors and patterns, is packaged in a handy, reusable storage box on the front cover. Altogether, there's 80 sheets of paper -- enough paper to fold all ten origami projects over and over and over again. For ages 9 and up.

my daughter loved this.....she loved the different patterns on the origami paper and the instructions are easy to follow

My daughter gave this to a friend for her 8th birthday. Her mom says it is her favorite gift! She has been able to follow the directions in the book and recreate the animal or object. Great for a child who loves crafts!

First word out of her mouth was "can I play with it RIGHT now?!" Was very happy to receive this gift, and is in the process of going through and making every design in the book. Only recommendation I have is that parents need to have more paper ready just in case of a folding mistake.

My son loves it. he has been using it non stop since he got it. Now I have to get more Origami paper and other books as he has really found an interest that he enjoys more than video games!
