Making paper airplanes doesn't feel like science. And it's not quite art. Near as we can figure launching a regular old piece of paper into the sky so that it soars is pure magic. We present a step-by-step guide to folding aerobatic amazements. The ten airplanes in this book are the best we've ever seen. This big (10" x 12") book comes complete with 40 sheets of flight-tested, ready-to-fold paper, printed on both sides in a variety of 20 colorful patterns, including leopard print, wood grain, hot rod flames and lose-it-on-the-lawn grass. It's everything you need to rule the skies.
As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 7 years of age.

I purchased the Klutz Paper Airplanes Book for my 11 year-old nephew for Christmas, and he LOVED it. He looked with great interest through the many creative airplane designs and began experimenting nonstop. He was especially impressed with the colorful paper included to make extra spiffy planes. I was pleasantly surprised by the product's high quality. It's a sturdy, well-made book. The product and service from Fat Brain Toys was very impressive. It's a great value for a reasonable price. Fat Brain will be my first stop next time when looking for quality gifts. Thanks!

The book is graphically appealing and is very user friendly. It has patterns to make 10 fun paper airplanes-including step by step visual and written directions, a straight edge and fun colorful paper. The only extra items I would sugguest are a bit of tape, a glue stick and a ream of plain white copy paper for practicing before you use the fun colored/patterned paper. We gave this as a birthday gift to a 10 year old boy. Now my boys and all their friends want one too. This is a great book that can be used over and over.
