I was disappointed that there were not more Lincoln log pieces. I felt the price went toward the nice box but not the building pieces.

It was a smash. The Lincoln Logs couldn't be put away, the little guy was even willing to give up dinner to play with the logs. I was impressed with them. I don't quite remember my own set but this set was great. I couldn't have made a better choice.

Very nice toy for my twin 5 year old girls. However, the set is rather small for the price. Only 3 small "cabins" can be built at one time.

Extremely high quality that exceeded my expectations. All pieces are finished to eliminate the possibility of splinters. The carrying case is very high quality as well. There are plenty of pieces to permit creativity beyond what is put forth in the directions and instructions. These Lincoln Logs are for my three grandsons to use on rainy days at the lake or in the evening, but they have not seen them yet. However, "someone" has constructed several log cabins with them already and he found them very engaging.

The quantity of the larger logs I thought seemed small. I am 54 years old and my Lincoln Logs came in containers like Quaker Oats containers. I remember building larger houses then.
