My 5 year old niece is enjoying making sentences while her mother is cooking in the kitchen. Together they are building sentences and working on word recognition and having fun.

I was initially a little annoyed that the pieces were not already attached to the magnets. However, after finding the directions in the pile of marketing material, it was said that they recommended younger kids get started using them without the magnets. Makes sense, I guess but the pieces are so small I wouldn't let a small child play with them.
They (barely 3 y.o. twin boys) were immediately interested in the toy, and we did the first three puzzles before they had to move on to other presents. There are many different puzzles that will keep them busy for a long time. I think that this will require adult supervision for some time, there are a lot of pieces that are very small.

The magnetic Magnetic MightyMind is wonderful for my 4-year-old. I can tell he's really pulled into the creativity of it. He loves the little pieces and how they all work together.
