"My son has Hypotonia or low-muscle tone. While he doesn't have this to an extreme level, he struggles with fine/gross motor activities. Picking up the pieces is great practice. "The tiles themselves could be more tactile-interesting. Our daughter will play with toys/objects longer if they have different textures than the ones she comes in contact with day-to-day. Maybe have some tiles, with a bumpy surface, some have a rubber coating, some have ripples, etc. Then there would be more dimensions in which one could play with them.
We used them in the beginning as a supplement to a matching program (matching objects to pictures/vica versa) and she's excellent at puzzles, so this was a different take on that ability. It definitely intrigues her, but like I said before, if they "felt" better, her attention span with them would be much longer.
Its a great toy overall. Even our 18 month old is able to use it. Thank you. Hope you do consider the suggestions though."

Great toy, stimulates my 6 year old. We can work together as a team on the hearder puzzles. The easier puzzles are good for younger kids, like my 3 and 4 year old. It can grow with your child.

Very educational toy..my grandson loved it..they did use it first without the magnets an he liked it just as well...great learning toy an best of all made in the USA
My 3 year old son got this for christmas and has really enjoyed playing with it. It's easy to play with in the car and there are different levels to complete which help build confidence.
My 3 year old nephew loves it. His other aunt bought him a similar toy- but it wasn't magnetic. The magnetic trait makes it very attractive to this young active boy! He carries it around everywhere. I love how it fosters spacial learning at various levels, so he can do some by himself and others with an older person. Also improves fine motor skills.
