Children learn to solve puzzles entirely on their own.
Starting with the simple concept of manipulating two half circles, the child creates a full circle. Then by following a logical numerically programmed sequence of patterns, the child learns how to manipulate 32 geometric shapes to build pictures of increasing complexity. The first 20 puzzles provide color clues in the picture to assist a child in selecting the needed shapes, but the last 10 are without clues and are the most challenging.

Christmas gift. But have given the gift before. This is one of the few toys that I highly recommend to friends for children, pre-school, and early elementary classrooms.
