Both Ann and Andy are included in this set, and are both 8 inches tall. The dolls have red yarn hair, painted faces, and authentic costumes. They are wearing their classic outfits - Andy in his blue pants, plaid shirt, red and white striped stockings, and black shoes, and Ann in her blue dress, white pinafore, white pantaloons, red and white striped stockings and black shoes.
Raggety Ann and Andy are based on classic book characters, first published in 1918 by Johnny Gruelle. At that time, rag dolls were sold depicting the characters.
To maintain the best care for your Madame Alexander treasure, it is best to encase your doll upright on a stand whenever possible. Laying the doll for extended periods of time affects the blinking ability of the eyes. Also, do not store your doll in a damp area and avoid direct sunlight and severe heat.
