Magnetic Poetry German is a great product like the other magnetic poetry items. It includes endings for verbs so that pronouns can be changed and nouns can be made plural. However, the Spanish magnetic poetry has the English translation on the reverse side, the German does not. The German words do include a dictionary of the words in the box. Nice plastic box to store unused words.

My German friend thought this was the most wonderful, unique present she had ever received! The words were really great & she was so excited to see something like that in her language! Really great product!
For Classroom Use: German as Foreign Language

The wide variety of vocabulary limits usefulness to 2nd year or above. Beginners would have to search through too many tiles to find the few vocabulary items they recognize. Also the amount of fiddling required to get the correct one- or two-letter endings for verbs, adjectives, etc. would frustrate most students. I intend to use it as a novelty for the last day before vacations, etc., assigning 2 to 3 students to use it cooperatively.

Great For Lovers of the German Language

This product takes the fun of the original and adds an international spin to it. If you love the German language as much as I do, then you will enjoy this. Not only is it a neat way to practice your German, it's also a great conversation starter. And you will be surprised at how the humor of whimsical sentences is amplified by the fact that they are in a foreign language.
