Product review of Gift Card Maze

The maze is more challenging than it first appears. I needed to refer to the answer card to help me solve it quickly before I inserted my gift card. I'm sure the recipients of my gift will enjoy trying to solve the maze to get their gift card.
I purchased 25 of these for a company holiday party. Each year we give prizes at a raffle, and the current state of the economy has dictated that our employees would just as soon have cash or a gift card than something else. The majority of the employees at our party are in the 20-35 year age range, and they are all researchers/scientists...brainy! They will love winning a gift card at the raffle, and having to work for it a bit.

Some effort required to open, but not overtly difficult to solve. My kids enjoyed solving the maze several times (6 year old can do it). The mechanism for actually popping the door open isn't particularly intuitive though (the ball trips a switch when in the right position after you slide a lever). Worse, if you happen to have your hand over the trap door that houses the gift card, you'll have to solve the maze over again. This is spelled out in the instructions, but who gives instructions alongside a gift card? Overall, it's a good product, inexpensive, and a very creative way to give a gift card!
