More interesting than other blocks

The blocks are really colorful and my 13-month old loves to look at the pictures on them. We have another set of blocks that are less colorful with only outlines of pictures. She is much less interested in that set. We go through the pictures (e.g. "cow, dress, glasses") one by one and she seems to look at them. She also loves hitting them against each other because they make noise. I think they'll be great when she starts learning her alphabet and numbers.
