There’s no other product quite like it! Now you can accurately track children’s required reading times to help take the work out of daily reading homework.
Named “Best New Product of 2004” by BookExpo America its fun colors and electronic functions encourage kids to make reading a daily habit. And for parents, it's just a touch of a button, and the electronic timer is set to monitor how long a child reads.
Made of durable polyethylene plastic it’s available in three hot colors— Neon Blue, Neon Purple, Neon Green. With its slim form, it fits neatly between the pages of any book.
At the top is a digital clock that's powered by a replaceable watch battery. Choose to set a countdown timer with alarm that alerts readers when they have completed their required reading time or set the cumulative timer which stores time over multiple reading sessions until the reader chooses to delete it.
Also ideal for timing music practice sessions, timed math fact activities, meetings, homework study sessions, cooking and interval training when exercising.
Parents and teachers from across the country confirm that the mark-my-time digital bookmark is the best and easiest way to monitor reading time and keep kids excited about reading so they'll want to read more.
Great for ages 5 and up. Dimensions: 1-3/4" x 7-3/4"
As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 5 years of age.
Awesome idea for may reasons

This is not used by a child. I am 75 years young and cook some. I use it to time things I cook such as rice, cakes, and timing cooking times. I put it in my shirt pocket and it is always within reach. I also use it to time an alert for a TV sports event or a movie that I don't want to miss.
My 6.5 year old early reader loved it.

I bought this for my first grade boy, who must read 15 min/day out loud. This works great for him to time himself, and he loves that it has the real time of day on it as well. He has used it several times since receiving it for Christmas.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. His mother was thrilled! He is required to read for a certain amount of time every day for school. This keeps him on track. Great idea!
Now I have to get one for his younger brother so they can compete (everything is a competition with them). I think they will both exceed their allotted time reading!
