This was given to my 6 year old by her little brother at her friend birthday party. It was a huge hit with my daughter and with her friends. They passed it around asking it questions. They all wanted one! She continues to play with it frequently. Great price for a birthday gift, too.

The magic 8 ball is one of those toys that has incredible staying power. I remember playing with it as a kid and so got a kick out of the fact that my children are now interested in it. It was a gift requested by a 9 year old but has been used not only by him but by his 7 and 11 year old siblings as well. It seems to be hugely popular when friends come over as they like to demonstrate the -magical powers- and question answering ability the 8 ball has. While it's not something that the kids play with constantly, it does appear to be something that they go back to again and again and enjoy.
