I love the size of these little stamps, they are easy for small hands to grasp. I also love the fact that the stamp pad contains 4 color choices. My 4 year old son started creating new colors by using 2 colors on the pad and he thought he was pretty clever. He has fine motor difficulties, so this is an excellent product for him since it requires some pressure to be applied to the stamp pad and the paper and it also utilizes a strong grasp. We've never been disappointed with a Melissa and Doug product.

I bought 15 of these as party favors for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. The kids loved them! The stamps and ink are good quality and wash off easily.
Great product, suitable for wide age range...

The stamps are well made, the ink is washable (comes off most surfaces with just water), and my kids love it - what more could you ask for... We have a three year old girl and a six year old boy, they both love creating pictures together. They'll stamp a scene onto a piece of paper and color it in with crayons or colored pencils. This is one of thoose rare toys that while simple promotes creativity, teamwork, dexterity, and imagination. If you are not familar with Doug and Melissa toys, you are in for a treat. There is also a dinosuar stamp set, which I recommend as well...
