The stamps are well made, the ink is washable (comes off most surfaces with just water), and my kids love it - what more could you ask for... We have a three year old girl and a six year old boy, they both love creating pictures together. They'll stamp a scene onto a piece of paper and color it in with crayons or colored pencils. This is one of thoose rare toys that while simple promotes creativity, teamwork, dexterity, and imagination. If you are not familar with Doug and Melissa toys, you are in for a treat. There is also a dinosuar stamp set, which I recommend as well...
Simple, but Fun!

I've bought several of these stamp sets as gifts for 3 year old birthdays as well one for my own 3 year old daughter. The ink is washable, which is great. It even comes off of our coffee table quite easily. The stamps are a good size for little hands and quite sturdy.

This is a nice stamp set. The only disappointment is that I expected the stamps to be a bit larger. However for the money it is a great value. The stamps are wood and nicely curved for easy holding. I would suggest that folks buy spare stamp pads. Though the multi-color pad is pretty neat, small kids quickly mess it up.
