This product is great! We started Kindermusik and my child loves the band in the box. I hope that it holds up though. The recent Melissa and Doug products we have purchased have either cracked or peeled apart which hasn't always been the case.

When searching for a gift I clicked on "Shop by age" and entered 1year old, thereforewhen I chose this toy I did not check if it wad age appropriate. I was disappointed when I received it and realized that it was for a 3 year old. Due to this oversight I did not give it to my grandaughter for her birthday. :-(

I bought this for my 2 year old twin granddaughters. They paraded around the house playing some of the instruments with my husband and myself. Can't wait for them to come back and play with the rest of the family. It was a fun activity for them and hilarious watching them march around.
