We bought this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She liked it very much and so did her 5 year old sister. We liked the idea of having to figure out how to get all of the clothes on using only one string, but some of the holes were not cleanly drilled so the string snagged and we had to clean them out. Also, the box is pretty doesn't store the clothes, so we had to put them in a ziplock bag. Having a lid would make storage better.
Over all it's a cute toy and much more durable than paper dolls, and my girls like "sewing clothes" for the bear.

Excellent puzzle. Made of wood so will hold up over time. Wish I had purchased a couple as the kids were fighting over who got to play with it.

This item was a gift for a 4-year-old girl who takes dancing lessons. This has become a favorite toy of hers. She enjoys lacing on the different costumes. Her mother says that she doesn't always get the thread in the "right" hole, but that it is teaching her problem solving and patience, two very important life skills. I would highly recommend this item.
