This wooden Magnetic Habitats Set includes 3 scenic habitat cards and 26 magnetic wooden play pieces for creating fun combinations! The 3 habitats are Farm, Ocean, and African Plains. Includes a sturdy, magnetic board and study carrying case with easy-zip back pocket. Great for travel. Provides hours of play. To play you just slide one of the three habitat scenes into the wooden frame, sort the magnets to find the appropriate animals for each habitat, and create a beautiful picture on the background you choose. Ages 3 and up.

Good creative toy. Right now, my son loves pulling out animals while we name them, then placing them on the scene. Later, he'll be able to do more creative play. Love the case that you store it in - it is durable and easy to carry. Only wish the magnet was a little stronger.

Our 18 month old daughter loves this toy. And we have found it to be a perfect toy to take with us on long car rides. She can stay in her car seat and be entertained without losing pieces all over the seats. It also has been fun to name different animals and settings.
Yes, that's an elephant on the farm... and his friend lion.

I purchased this for my precocious 2 year old to keep him entertained on a long car trip. He was immediately delighted with the animal magnets. They all turned out to be friends, despite some predator-prey relationships. Some of the pieces are a bit small and can get lost, but the nice chuncky zipper pocket helps keep them together. Wish the background scenes weren't paper (glossy card stock, but still tear-able).
