Melissa and Doug make wonderful puzzles! The extra thick pieces can withstand the usual stepping and crawling on that accompany putting together any floor puzzle. I was a little disappointed that it did not include a chart to identify the animals, as another M & D puzzle that we purchased did. The age rating on this puzzle is 6 and up; however, we did this for a family activity for my three year old just a few times before he quickly got the hang of it, so he now does it all by himself.

Great puzzle. It is fun to put together! The pieces are large, durable, fit together nicely and are easy to clean.

There are many puzzle makers on the market, but Melissa and Doug make the best ones for kids. The pieces are large and durable, and that is especially important for a 3 year old. Great product.

We have eight children and all of them enjoyed this puzzle. The colors are vibrant and beautiful! The puzzle is a challenge for the 3-5 year olds but with the help of older siblings was great fun.
