I purchased this puzzle for my 3 year old who is developmentally delayed. I like this puzzle because it requires her to study the color and pattern to match with the correct animal. The downside is that most pieces will fit any of the animals in the puzzle. I wish the shapes were different. Then if she incorrectly matches a piece it would not fit; therefore she would have to continue working to find the right match. She thinks if the piece fits, she has it right. We will continue to work together on the puzzle until she masters correctly matching the correct color and pattern.

This puzzle was a gift for my 2 year old grandson. He loved it! It's perfect for a little one's first puzzle. The graphics are bright and colorful. It is well made. It would probably last for generations of tots. The only downside is it's made in China! I would happily pay more for a product made in the USA.

The puzzle was well made and extremely cute, but it had two lion pieces and was missing the zebra piece! (Note from Fat Brain Toys: The nerve. Hey there lion, moving in on zebra territory will not be tolerated. We arranged for the shipment of a new puzzle for Ms. Guillie.)
