This is a simple, old school, and perfect gift. Further, this is one of those toys that you'd find at any quality preschool and for good reason as it helps promote cognitive development/ organizational skills in young ones.

I really like the product to help teach colors, numbers & shapes. My son just turned 1 so he really isn't grasping the idea's yet, but I believe challenging toys are important.

My daughter loves this product. She is not quite ready to sort the shapes, but she loves taking them off the sticks and banging them together. We have a game where I put the toys on the sorter and she takes them back off.
