Love the feel of the wood blocks - and the nice wooden box that contains them. It's almost as much fun to put the blocks BACK IN the box as it is playing with them.
My 4 year old grandson visits often and it's the first thing he wants to play with.

This block set made by Melissa and Doug is really high quality. It is exactly what I have been looking for. Often block sets come with tiny pieces. I wanted a set for my daughter that was similar to the set I had when I was a child. This is the set. The pieces are nice size, smoothly sanded, and come in a varitey of shapes and sizes. If you are looking for a high quality block set that will last forever at a very fair price, this is the set!

My grandson plays with these blocks constantly. One day they are used for building a castle and the next day an aircraft carrier. With all the electronic toys and toys that leave nothing for a child's imagination, these blocks allow a child to imagine, create, and play whatever he wants on any given day.
