I bought this toy for my niece for her 1st birthday. Her dad loves sushi and I thought this would be the perfect toy for them to play with. He got a kick out of the toy and she loved it! Her and my 10 month old son played with this toy for at least an hour after she opened it. They loved putting the sushi rolls together and taking them apart. It is made out of wood, so I know that this is a toy that she will play with for years to come. We did take out the chopsicks and some of the smaller parts until she gets older. This is a well made gift and I would recommend it to anyone.

Initially I saw this toy and thought it was absolutely adorable. I had to buy it. In my mind I was really buying it for me, but told myself it was for the boys. As soon as I received it, my 2 and 6 year old fell in love with it. It comes in a cute little bento box. They loved making the chopping sound while cutting up the roll. I like the fact that this toy is made out of wood. Everything I have ever gotten through Melissa and Doug has lasted.

It was sooo cute! The food looked so real and my grandkids could'nt wait to use it. I like to but wooden toys from Melissa and Doug they hold up very well and can be passed down from generation to generation.
