Mellissa and Doug floor puzzels have always been a favorite of our 3-year-old. They are sturdy and age-appropriate, and I believe they will be around for the next generation.

It's a wonderful puzzle although it is somewhat challenging since it is in the shape of a T-rex and not a rectangle. My son is 3 years old and loves it.
