I bought these for my daughter as a fun way to learn how to write numbers and letters correctly to prepare for Kindergarten. These crayons work well on the Learning Mat that we purchased separately. They wash easily off too. The only problem is that just like regular crayons, after they are used, they no longer have a pointy tip. There is no way to sharpen them. And without the pointy tip it is hard to write with them.

The mat crayons are great. They are easy for the children to hold
and the colors are bright and bold which the kids is appealing to the kids. And best of all--they don't leave marks on furniture or
clothing.
