This Potato Clock is designed to demonstrate the principle of an electrochemical cell. The LCD clock runs on 2 potatoes, oranges, grapefruits or cans of soda.
Includes an instructional manual. Description of the conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy.

Bought this for a 4th grade science project... We are having a blast with all the variables that we can use with this clock... Not just potatoes! Very fun for the whole family.

This was purchased for a science fair project. He got an A on the project. He has played with it for hours after the project. He loves to see how long each food item will keep the clock going. He is 7 almost 8.

The potato clock works, but not all the numbers showed up. The instructions are easy to understand. Has been working since the day we received it, which has been a week ago.
