I purchased the splash jack floating cards for my son who is almost 6 months. Bath time is his FAVORITE time of day and I have purchased several bath toys from Fat Brain Toys. He loved the cards, we stick them to the sides of the bath tub and talk about each animal and what sound they make! He also liked chewing on them :)

These are fun cards, but my girls said they stink and as a result they don't play with them much. I agree they have a strong smell which I don't like, and it makes me wonder what kind of chemicals are floating in their bath. I really don't know if the smell will improve, but for now they are mostly just sitting there.
We contacted our customer to assist. The manufacturer's response: Some people are more sensitive to the smell of newly packaged cards. We have gone through extensive testing to make sure that the cards are safe. Any slight odor from the cards does go away shortly. Splash Jack cards are free from BPA, PVC, Formamide, and meet all CPSC regulations.
