My 10-year-old homeschooled daughter hounded me to get this for her after she saw the Perplexors Basic book I had ordered for my 7-year-old. She loves it. The girls both love logic games and this is one of their favorites.
Fun, But Hard To Understand

Some of the pages of this are fairly easy to do, where others are really difficult. I'm having a difficult time helping my son figure some of them out. The examples aren't explained as well as I'd hoped, and they even say that you have to "guess" at times, so it's more "luck" instead of smarts.

Setting: Home
This product is very useful to my 6th grade students. Since they have experience with Venn Diagrams already, they use this tool to stretch their imaginations. I like the use of higher level comprehension skills needed to solve the puzzles. It is also open ended enough for the gifted students to put their own "spin" on it.

The Venn diagram problems are challenging for grade school students and good activities for higher level thinking. I have three of the books and enjoy using them with my students.
